The “Long Block” table from Propellor Designs is unconventional, modern and beautiful. Minimally done, this table lets the wood speak for itself, letting the patterns in the wood be the focal point. And it’s made from reclaimed Douglas Fir so its eco-friendly. The Propellor site features other great eco-friendly simple modern designs.

Umbra offers a collection of various kinds of shelves that “hide” when filled with towels, books, etc. A good alternative for those who just can’t decide on a style or finish, or those who just like to impress their friends with their magical levitating books.

These disco ball ornaments, from cb2, are great for the tree or in a clear bowl on a table. I also love these plates and […]

Gold plates normally have a more classic design but these have a modernist twist reminiscient of spirograph designs. A great touch for the modernist home entertainer. They’re also dishwasher safe and decently priced at $50 for four, one of each design.
